Went for lunch with a friend. A disaster. We waited 1hr 15 mins for our lunch to arrive, advised there had been a printer error the order had not been printed passed to the kitchen. My friend had to send her Hunters Chicken back it was overcooked/burnt. Another wait eventually a satisfactory Hunters Chicken. We were offered free sweets due to the issues which we accepted. When our empty dishes were collected the waiter said he would bring the bill, 15 mins later we had to ask to be told he had forgotten. The whole experience was one we will not repeat. Poor service, poor food, no ambience rude staff. I could not recommend.

The pub had a pleasant atmosphere in the bar area. It was very quiet as we were the only diners present. They provided high chairs, which was convenient, and even allowed our dog inside. The drinks and food arrived promptly, but unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. It tasted as if it had been reheated or cooked in the microwave. The burger was decent, but the curry and kids' meal were not enjoyable, so we ended up leaving them unfinished.
We reserved a table for Christmas Day lunch with my family and from the moment we made the reservation until we left the restaurant, we received excellent service. The restaurant was bustling and had a wonderful atmosphere. The food was delicious and the staff were exceptional. We will definitely be making a reservation for next year.
I went to this restaurant for Christmas dinner with my family. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very pleasant. I ordered the terrine and roast turkey, followed by a festive sticky toffee dessert. I definitely plan on returning in the future.
Very friendly welcome Gracie was very helpful and engaging had the build your own breakfast it was hot tasty and satisfying. Hope they continue it in the summer.

Came for the beer and breakfast on boxing day. What a brilliant idea! With a build your own breakfast it was perfect for everyone.
Good value lunch. Comfortable surroundings and quick friendly service. Nice menu and convenient for the M6 motorway.
