The Plucky Pheasant

Let me keep this simple, this is my experience. Great restaurant great service always with a smile and sense of humour. Great variety of food served hot and very tasty and on hot plates (oh joy)! Eat inside or in the tent, fabulous views, easy walking on the Downs in the fresh air afterwards what's not to like! Could be my fave place to go for breakfast and sometimes lunch! I'll be back.... !

I'll visit the café when I walk around my dog. Newland's corner has a breathtaking view that attracts people from all over the weekend. Weekly days are less luxurious. The Plucking Pheasant added to this goal “Go to place”. I think the food was always excellent in quality and taste, I highly recommend breakfast coffee top quality. A visit is definitely worthwhile for the entire package.

absolutely amazing cake. can be employed, but good employees who deal with the masses. the cakes (gluten-free and vegan options) are the best cake I ever had (biscoff and banana especially.) toilets are clean, everything runs fast and highly recommended. it was just a slight annoyance. it was very busy and we were locked in.

I kid you not, it was the best avocado and salmon on toast I have ever had! My partner loved his full english as well! The staff were kind and so lovely. The views are amazing and we are definitly going there again!

on a warm day you can not beat the view of newlands corner. this dog-friendly caffe had a nice selection of vegan and vegetarian foods, great soybean coffee and a delicious vegan banane, erdnus cake.

a nice caffe with a view of the surrey hills. on the menu are some vegan items marked clearly. I had the spiced chickpea edamame burger that was delicious!

excellent service, high quality food and a beautiful location. a bit expensive, but all in all a nice breakfast box stop.
