The Porterhouse - Reserva de mesa

I haven 't eaten here and probably won 't, as I just called and asked a few important questions- important to me anyway. They use farm raised salmon and the beef they use it provide by Sysco. Obviously this isn 't a bad thing, as many many restaurants do, but considering the prices they charge High! and that they are in Skagit County where we are surrounded by farms and organic dairies and abundant seaside, etc. Maybe they didn 't get the menu, so let 's share it with then now 'EAT LOCAL ' decrease your carbon footprint, support your local purveyors, etc . If they are getting meat from Sysco, I doubt they are getting anything else from the local growers. Too bad, so sad. Not impressed. Lower...

The chef here is outstanding. I had the beef stroganoff which was phenomenal. I've been making it myself for decades and, until now, mine was the best I've ever tasted. It paired wonderfully with a pint of nonalcoholic Guinness. My wife had pulled pork tacos and she raved about them. At her insistence, I tasted her salsa on one of the house-made tortilla chips and oh man, it was good! We are very excited to have found this outstanding eating establishment. We'll be back! Great service, too!

While visiting Mt Vernon, we stopped in for a quick bite and a couple of adult beverages. They had a good selection of beer and wine. We order Nachos, which were a total letdown. $19.95 plus $8,00 for a small amount of chicken. No care was taken to distribute the toppings. Just plopped on sporadically. If the chicken was any drier, it might have been considered jerky

Great pub vibes with exceptional customer service. Excellent draft beer selection with a couple cider /or seltzer options. I got the beef stroganoff it was creamy, beefy, everything you want stroganoff to be. My fiance had prosciutto grilled cheese with tomato soup that had a nice red pepper flavor. Service was good. Chowder was good. The fish and chips were just okay. Like the lightness of the beer batter but it quickly became soggy and fell apart as it cooled. The fish was not seasoned and was bland. Hope to come back and try the other items on the menu.

Delicious food! I always get the garlic brie burger because it is simply the best! The waitress is quick attentive. The menu has various options to choose from! Definitely not your typical bar food.

Food was fabulous! We had the Beef Stroganoff and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The food came out fast and hot! Service was amazing and the food was delicious. Definitely will go back.
