The food is good, similar to the other two locations further south in Long Beach. I tried the vegan Benedict and the vegan burrito, both of which were satisfying and flavorful, though not the best I've had. I appreciate that these dishes are on the menu, and it's great to see that they feature straightforward tofu rather than any meat substitutes. The café at Potholder P3 is a charming little spot in the heart of Long Beach that strikes a great balance for both meat eaters and vegans. They offer separate menus for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. I tried the vegan Benedict, and to my surprise (since I’m not a fan of hollandaise sauce), it was absolutely delicious, well-flavored, and very filling! They also have a veggie spud dish and tofu scramble on their menu. Just a note: while they have gluten-free dishes, not all of them are vegan, as some contain eggs and milk. Overall, this place is definitely worth a visit along the coast!
I grew up enjoying the delicious food at Potholder Cafe. I used to visit their Broadway location, when it was run by an older couple who are likely in heaven now. I appreciate that you've maintained the delicious recipes without any changes. Now that I live closer to the Lakewood restaurant, I continue to experience excellent service and great food. The staff is very friendly as well. I’ve loved this place since the hippie days of the 70s!
I had a wonderful time at this restaurant! The food was fantastic, and the other patrons were incredibly friendly. The overall atmosphere and experience were so uplifting. I even ended up buying a mug! I can’t wait to return!

I've been here twice, and both experiences were fantastic. The mimosas were spot on, and I really enjoyed the house potatoes—they were excellent. This is definitely one of my go-to places now! It's made it onto my list!
The restaurant provides ample portion sizes at excellent prices. The food is exceptional, featuring a diverse range of menu selections. The service is impeccable, deserving an A+ rating.
We absolutely adore this restaurant! It’s our favorite spot for breakfast and brunch. There’s usually a wait since the food is so delicious, so make sure to arrive early!
Wonderful food! You definitely get your money's worth. The staff is very friendly, and they serve the BEST Mimosas! I absolutely love the outdoor patio area!
