we came more or less to their opening times after a long walk from the camping site where we lived. with four dogs they are never quite sure how 'dog friendly' will be a pub. but regardless of the number of canines, the bar staff were very welcome. the choice of beer was pretty good. in particular a Spanish camp that they do on the hahn was excellent. eating was absolutely fantastic. freshly cooked to order with homemade chips to accompany the steak pea. pudding (bakewell pudding) was also delicious. good value. although our dogs were very loud when new people came into the bar and into the es zone, the staff really remained pleasant and there was no money from them whatever. a really pleasa...

beautiful pub, burger with beef patent taste great, portions are fair and also prices. outside area behind the pub is spacious and pleasant. toilets are clean. who's coming?

Really friendly service. Food was absolutely delicious. Homemade pie was 10/10. Just what we needed mid ramble.
