The staff at this restaurant always seem unhappy and frequently run out of ice without informing customers until after they have placed their order. The tables are dirty and overall it is not a good dining experience. Additionally, there have been issues with male staff members checking the female toilets while female staff are working, as well as a lack of enforcement regarding people vaping indoors. The cleanliness and overall experience at this establishment leave much to be desired. The service is still slow and disorganized, with messy tables and unruly children. The toilets are in a poor state and some customers behave poorly. There have been repeated complaints about the staff's attit...
Went for lunch, was hoping for cheap and cheerful food (you get what you pay for) but got burnt offerings completely inedible. Sent plate back and they redone it, it came back in a timely manner and looked ok, but came with a side of eggshell and some other crispy stuff that looked like it had been scraped off the bottom of a frying pan. Sent back and refund asked for. As for the place itself. It was busy but there were empty tables which hadn't had plates cleared off and tables hadn't been wiped down, overall a very disappointing birthday lunch.
I visited the restaurant today with my daughter, who is on the autism spectrum. The noise level became overwhelming for her, so I had to take her home. I had ordered a cup of tea that I hadn't finished, and when I asked for a takeaway cup, I was told that I would need to purchase a brand new cup of tea. I was disappointed by the lack of understanding and support for caregivers and parents of individuals with disabilities. Despite asking two different staff members, I received the same response.
Great friendly services from the all the staff when ever I have been lately 8.1.2024 food is very good as well and good value for money well done to the management for for getting in good staff and training them well well done Charlotte

Busy Wetherspoons pub. Bit unruly early evenings, families and so, but settles down later. Food was okay, and not expensive. Staff okay. Generally everything just average, not outstanding or great, but not bad either.
Well food was small for the money was expensive for what I got small amount of chips and burger was thin ....... southport weatherspoons has bigger portions for sure
The restaurant had a nice building, but the tables were sticky, the floor was grubby, and the food was not great during our visit on Friday lunchtime.
Not a bad Spoons, no decent beers on, just a couple of average ones and the regulars. Food was fine, Spoons food served well.

Its a Wetherspoon's in the afternoon, it's clean, tidy and the food is OK, staff are good but parking may be a problem
