The Ragged Trousers

We visited this restaurant on Christmas Eve for lunch. Since we are not familiar with the area, it was a bit of a gamble. There were five of us, including our small dog. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. Two of us tried the croque madame, which was delicious. We also enjoyed the surf'n'turf with minute steak, cooked perfectly. I ordered the nachos with chili on top, as suggested by our server, and it was the best chili I have ever had. The people next to us ordered the cassoulet, which looked amazing and is definitely what I would try next time. We will definitely come back when we are in the area again and have already recommended it to our friends.

We were hoping to eat here, but sadly the kitchen was closed (maybe Covid staffing issues, or maybe because it was a Sunday evening). The menu looked delicious! However, the lovely lady at the bar said that we could order a delivery burger to eat outside – which we did, and so we can also thoroughly recommend Roddy Burger! Really great service here, and we'd love to come back and eat next time we're in Tunbridge Wells.

Lovely pub in a great location. Relaxed, youthful atmosphere, the various art work on the walls is really varied and interesting. The staff are always great, there's a nice selection of drinks. Nice outside area front and back either on the pantiles itself or in a cosy courtyard. Food menu on the weekend is delicious!

This restaurant is a top choice for ale in a lively area with a great selection of their own brewed beer from George. The small pub brewery offers good quality beer, as well as an excellent variety of other craft beers. The staff is friendly and professional. Reserva una mesa ahora

There are not many places in Tunbridge Wells that have as great of an atmosphere as The Ragged. The staff are always lovely and there is a wide selection of drinks. It is the ideal spot for a relaxed drink during the week or a lively night out on the weekend.

The Ragged Pants is my favorite pub in Tunbridge Wells. The menu changes weekly with specials, and the staff is lovely and beautiful. It's a special place to relax, enjoy life, and escape the chaos. Highly recommended.

The restaurant provided a warm and welcoming ambiance, excellent service, lively dishes, and a pleasant atmosphere. It's a fantastic dining spot with a variety of 22 beers on tap to choose from.
