The Rising Sun Pub, Stanwell

Location is ok but the pub seemed run down and serving drinks in extremely sticky and dirty glasses. Quite surprised since it’s supposed to be on of the green king chain pubs. Haven’t tried any food so can’t comment. Can hear airplanes taking off but certainly cannot see any despite other reviews. Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

We visited this charming pub while waiting for our flight. We enjoyed two pints and some cider, and the friendly waiter even helped us with directions on how to take the bus back to the terminal. It was a lovely experience overall. The service and atmosphere were both excellent, earning a perfect score of 5.

Our BnB host recommended this restaurant, but it was terrible. I do not recommend it at all. The prawn cocktail was disgusting, covered in mayonnaise. I wish I could post a picture of it. Food and service both rated a 2 out of 10, while the atmosphere was a 3.
