The Riverside Fish

Avoid at all costs! Not worthy of 1star! Came to stourport with friends for the weekend, popped in here about 1230 pm on Saturday 22 July , the restaurant was completely empty. We sat down and the food was bought over to us within a couple of minutes. I only had chips my friends had saveloy and chips and steak pie and chips. Didn’t eat much of mine as they were disgusting, tasted days old. Come 1am in the morning severe sickness and diarrhoea for both my friends started which is still continuing now (mon 24th July) I myself having stomach pain.absolutely ruined the weekend had to leave early. Will be reporting to environmental health.

hiya, i ordered meself a chicken burger meal from here, and not to be frank, but it was the nicest burger i’ve tasted in years !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! service was speedy and staff were polite and chatty, i sat meself down in the front cafe and they brought it me over with me can of 7-up, even asked if i wanted extra salt and vinegar brought over to me table. it was impeccable. had meself a little chat with the staff while i got me food in me, and i will be rushing back in a moments notice. 101% recommend as food was as fresh as ever, i even watched them cook it. THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU HAVE ANOTHER SATISFIED CUSTOMER

This country throws away one third of food produced. The portions given at this chip shop were obscenely huge. We were given two massive portions of chips between two of us that was impossible to eat. Fortunately we took our uneaten chips home and fried them up the next day with vegetables and Spanish paprika. Yum. So much food was binned while we were sitting there that surely the managers must realise that they’re giving much larger portions than necessary. If they gave 20% less would people stop coming? They might therefore make more profit and help save the planet too!!

Me and my family travelled to here as we were recommended this by a friend called tash. We decided on a whim to travel here and this may be the best fish and chips I have ever had. The staff were super super friendly and also ended up meeting one of the honestly who was a lovely lovely mother and even spoke with her son. Her son was a very kind person who also gave great recommendations. If you're ever in the area make sure to come here! Best food establishment in the town. 5/5 Reserva una mesa ahora

The food is exactly what you would expect of a typical ‘Chippy’. The difference between this shop and most others is the staff. I find them friendly, approachable and helpful. They have always made sure that the food was right and that the portion size was more than adequate. There have been occasions when they have given away free pies and huge portions of chips. I recommend a visit if you’re in the area of Stourport-on-Severn..

Absolutely fantastic service, mouth watering food and a fabulous place the best fish and chips around I would recommend everyone to take a visit you will not be disappointed Fantastic place well done to all who work there

Horrible service. They were so rude to me and my husband. I have never felt so offended, and the food was very bland. I may as well have eaten mush from the garbage can. Never going here again

Went for meal on sunday had chicken and musheroom pie and chips chips loveley pie cold and dry no juice to it couldnt find chicken staff moody and slow Reserva una mesa ahora

Ate here last weekend at 8:20pm. Service was friendly but the food was terrible. Chips were likecardboard and jumbo sausage was cold

The food is excellent. You don't have to travel to the coast to enjoy delicious fish and chips when you can get them in Stourport.
