The meals were fabulous. Beautifully presented, huge portions, fresh and hot. The pies were proper pies with delicious fillings. Real chips, delicious salad. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were a group of 15 all with dogs. The staff made us very welcome, we sat inside in a warm, carpeted area. The manager ensured we had enough space and offered more tables or a different area to accommodate us. We couldn't have been treated with more respect or welcomed with more hospitality. Would highly recommend.
Visited this pub with a group of friends and all of our dogs. The staff were amazing, so welcoming and friendly. BUT THEN..... they brought out our food! Oh. My. Days!! The steak and ale pie was absolutely scrumptious, which goes to show, when you order a pie in Wigan they don't disappoint. Great pub, great staff and good food, and very dog friendly. Thank you
I love this place nice reasonable priced food love the chip shop platter type meal. Best thing about this place is the bar manager I found out hee name is Emma. She is absolutely lovely brightens every visit with her smile and general niceness a credit to this place is an understatement!! Keep smiling Emma. All Emma’s are lovely ya know
this is my local. I play in 7 days in the week darts. nice eating and great atmosphere. Bar employees work hard. large beer garden and perfect location for a beautiful pint after the race. everyone is always welcome in this friendly pub :0)

Popped in for Great all day breakfast while watching the afternoon sport in cosy surroundings and really well looked after by the ever attentive Emma, who made the experience as relaxing as it could be. First class service
