What a little gem! A lovely traditional pub in a beautiful setting. Fantastic outside space, although at this time of year it was the cosy interior with open fires that won us over. We went for Sunday lunch and it certainly did not disappoint. We all chose the roast beef and it was delicious! An extremely generous serving of meat accompanied by a great selection of vegetables, we couldn’t fault it. I’m not sure how, but we managed to make room for dessert as well and thoroughly enjoyed the homemade cheesecake and apple crumble options. I have had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant several times and Debbie, Shirley, and the rest of the team always make you feel like a regular customer. The drinks are consistently excellent, the atmosphere is delightful, and the food is absolutely divine. I wish I lived closer so I could frequent this place more often, but I will certainly cherish the warm welcome I receive whenever I am in the area. I feel lucky to have found this gem. 11/10 stars.
We visited the Robin Hood for Sunday lunch. Lovely table in the bar area. Lovely friendly atmosphere. There were four of us. Three had the beef roast, I had the lamb shank. The portion sizes are very generous and the food was absolutely delicious. We didn't have to wait long for our meal either. I would highly recommend you visit the Robin Hood. Not only is the food good, the pub is cosy with the woodburner roaring away and the locals are super friendly
We visited here for drinks on Christmas Eve , and was pleasantly surprised ! It’s a family run pub which the owners were very welcoming and very helpful. I would recommend this pub for drinks although I never tried the food it looked very nice and I would try on my next visit also the Guinness was great too !!

I stopped in for lunch with my family and was greeted warmly by the owners. The staff was attentive and the food was delicious, with a fantastic selection of ales and other drinks to choose from. There is something for everyone here! We will definitely be coming back soon. Thank you.
Visited with family New Year’s Eve, amazing home cooked roasts Yorkshire puddings, potatoes and large selection of vegetables generous portions) . coal fires and a great friendly atmosphere. Very welcoming owners and staff. Love this place.
Had a lovely meal last week in the week, the owners and the staff were so welcoming and friendly, and they made the meal and stay very pleasant. Can not wait to go back and would recommend this pub to everyone in the area!!

Excellent pub they have some great beers. Food was excellent I had the steak pie it was absolutely amazing with gravy to die for . Staff are really friendly with a great atmosphere
