my twin brother stepped and I were in the pub, the lawrence street when we decided to fall into the rose crown pub, a pub that is a special favorite of ours. this is such a traditional pub,interior is excellent, a solid wood can beservable dominates the main room,big furnishings and furnishings in this multi-room pub,tw’s, to enjoy the sport and many seating options, kossy best fass this pub. we were here on an icy cold night, pub was warm and absolutely packed,quiz night,big atmosphere, we were warmly welcomed by a very pleasant merciful, we had a study about their real ale’s and we both decided to have timothy taylor’s brewery rentals vibrate, these pale ale’s were served in excellent cond...

we were not in the hotel, but we had a wonderful dinner here. everything was of great quality. we ordered a steak pipe and fish and chips. the only thing I would change would be the kind of kartoffel. for the cake I would have chosen a kartoffelmaic as it was the same type of kartoffel for both dishes. the service was very nice and helpful. the classic decorated place. we had a beer on the outside terrace and it was very nice. price of the best price-performance place we tried in york, I would repeat without doubt.

Just back from a birthday weekend in York. We stopped 2 nights at the Rose Crown and I can honestly say that we were well looked after. The room was very good and the breakfasts were perfect ... full English ofcourse We also ate twice in the pub the food was excellent, the large chips are amazing and the pies are quality. It is probably less than 10 mins walk into York and has good parking at the pub, so no need to use the car.

I can't comment on eating because we had no order. the beer was delicious, very fresh and well kept. I had a pint of jankee from the rooster brewery, an American style pale ale made by an independent local brewery. the pub itself was welcoming and friendly, with a traditional interieur. the service was provided by a very jolly bar lady. the first time in york for a birthday contract traveled from n wales. remained in the rose and krone. good, what a great place, friendly staff. excellent eating breakfast and dinner and great atmosphere in a beautiful pub. the room was perfect and 6 minutes to walk to the center. thank you for your hospitality rose and crown. diolch

her Wifi password is not bragging. somehow the best torte I've ever had, never makes it to be the best torte in york. service was excellent. 100/10. highly recommended and would eat there again. in the did, cannot wait for our next visit in york, it has become a fixed favorite dining only on this visit.

beautiful pub with really nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. ideally located if you need a stop after the show in barbican, but only outside the city walls as well as for the rest of york. room was clean and very comfortable, good breakfast recommended.

Lovely 4 night stay great food Pies are excellent so is the choice of breakfast excellent staff very clean rooms see you next year God willing
