Just picked up a burger and fries to go. $18.33 for a greasy, piece of meat that looks and tastes like it came frozen from a box. Wendy's or McDonald's burgers are better than Oak Diner's burgers. Was going to pay with a credit card but they pass on the 3-4% service fee to their customers which is pretty low rent. I too am a small business owner who uses Square and don't charge my clients the service fee. That's just the cost of doing business. Time to take another hiatus from the Oak Diner.
Portion sizes are BIG! That's a good thing. Eat some now, save some for later. My recent meal was the Royal burger. It was great. However, the one thing I like the most are the Blueberry pancakes. The pancakes are about a foot in diameter and the blueberries are spread throughout the pancakes. If you go, Kathy is a must have server!
