The Royal Oak Inn Eastern Thai

Two of us called in recently for a pint and a spot of lunch following a walk around the Bredon countryside. The pub is a proper one offering a couple of pub games (darts and toad-in-the-hole). There is a range of good beers and the ones sampled were on form. The food was tasty and well presented and hit the spot. We were both impressed on how clean the pub was throughout, especially the toilets which can sometimes be a nasty shock, even in the nicest of venues. The young couple running it were charming and are determined to make the pub an important part of village life, with activities to entertain while you enjoy a drink. It's heartening to see a move like this against the trend of closing pubs and removing places to socialise, and I wish them all success,

it was hot here at the river and we came by chance over bredon. so glad that we did this or we would not have found this place. excellent English graphic local pub with such friendly service. Add the most wonderful Thai food! would recommend everyone in the opposite and if they don't, it's worth coming out and finding it. a

As it said ‘the warmest welcome’. The staff could not have been more helpful and hospitable. Arrived at noon with my wet dog. Was treated to a towel and biscuits (the dog) and good beer and a great gammon dinner. Recommend this place highly!!

this beautiful pub was laid by coincidence to lunch and was very pleasantly surprised! great eating, fast service and very hospitable staff. my chicken pillow thai was delicious, like my friends huh in oyster sauce. a trip to my opinion :d

Rooms impeccably clean, full English breakfast a work of art, although I was stuffed all day. Love the old pub games. Noise from the bar until late but all quiet after that. Can't fault the staff. All good.
