We went here for a Sunday roast on a whim. This was the only place with space available, it became obvious why. The tables were not clean.The food took ages to arrive. The staff 's children were running in, out and around the pub screaming, fighting and causing a massive commotion the whole time we were there. The staff just allowed this to continue, and left the children screaming and fighting, even whilst we were eating. The staff were talking about other customers at the top of their voices. Lovely place. Great food. Variety of choices. Six arrived just before last orders for food. I had phoned to book a table but couldn't give a time. They said they liked last food orders at 5.30 for sunday meals. we arrived at 5.25. The staff could not have been more obliging. They had ran out of one or two things from the menu but we were all fully satisfied with what we had.
This business ordered some products from me and then didn't pay. This was in March. We're a tiny company and can't afford to be ripped off by a thieving larger business.
The Sunday dinner felt very artificial—definitely not homemade but more like something straight from a cash-and-carry. I won't be coming back to eat here again.

Very plastic Sunday dinner! Not homemade straight out of cash and carry... Wont be visiting again to eat
Nice cosy country pub, if you get chance to have the fish cakes I recommend you do they are great!
