I have been going to the Shalimar restaurant for as long as I can remember, and I can only describe it as the best. It is consistently and without exception a pleasure to eat there, due to the exceptional quality of both the food and...the staff who are incredibly friendly and welcoming. my wife, two sons and I visited a few weeks ago on Sunday night. rang in advance to a table (seen days, not bad so soon to christmas) and it was ready at the arrival. was a little comprehensible about the situation as uppermill. is terrible for parking, but at this time we parked without problems or fights. the restaurant itself is not too bad. Maybe something dated, but eating yourself was good. Top night ordered a balti it was good hot, but it managed to sort it.lovely place within the staff were sorted,think a trainer came full of alans as I heard people screamed alan all night. a brandy only cough for me and phil definitiw not brown. only the bottom was a loose flow in the bathroom and who used spacers on subways? very recommended would be coming again next year. carl turner
in a cold rainy night we have ventured into the uppermill eager to have a longing for curry. we live in rural france and it is probably what we most lacked that we were not disappointed from the beginning to end absolutely excellent so much that obermill and the shalimar are now our stop when they travel to north to see family. thank you for seeing you in the mai!

I love Indian food and this is one of the best I have tasted. I had a takeaway due to Covid but this did not detract from the experience. The food is excellent, great flavours and an outstanding takeaway experience. I look forward to eating...in when I can.
Really extensive menu with a whole bunch of stuff that we hadn't seen before. The Chicken Jaflong was excellent, as was Lisa's Chicken Tikka Murgh Latpatta. Friendly attentive staff. Was quiet when we were in but it was early on a Monday. Really enjoyable

The food and service is always excellent at the Shalli, and this visit was no different. Really nice food, excellent service and great value for money. Recommended.

I ask the staff for recommendations and they will always accommodate you. They are very helpful and will always assist. Food is always good and plentiful.
Loved the food. Very flavoursome. The dishes were thick and delicious. Great ambience in the restaurant.
