The Shepherd's Pub

My boyfriend and I enjoyed an early dinner here on a day trip from Toronto. I had the spicy bean wrap with the Sheppard salad and he had the Guiness stew and we were both very happy with the food.I appreciated that there were >4 menu options for vegetarians (you can get any of the burgers with a veggie patty). Service was friendly and prompt, and the overall experience was very good value for money. The portion for the bean wrap was very large and would probably be large enough to share if you're not very hungry or having an appetizer/dessert. You may want reservations though since we saw several people get turned away as the evening went on.

Along with my friend from Toronto and my daughter, we spent a day/night in Elora on the May Long Weekend. For lunch we stopped in at this pub and were very happy with the service and the food. We ordered the turkey burger, the lamb burger and a chicken wrap. Clearly all were homemade and tasted delicious. Great selection of brew as well. Since we were staying overnight, we decided that we would go back for dinner and the evening. What a blast. Our waitress (Sam I think) was amazing and the owner (Sarah) was very hospitable. We had such a fun time with the locals. I would strongly recommend this pub for great food and atmosphere.

Stopped here for dinner with a bunch of friends. Good pub fare -- it all looked good! The Beef stew with Guinness was recommended, and the shephard's pie looked amazing. I had the buffalo chicken wrap -- messy, but delicious! One thing: this restaurant is in a basement, so it isn't easily accessible. But, it has a real "pub" atmosphere.

My husband and I enjoyed a late lunch on a Sunday. I enjoyed a beef and Guinness pie and my husband ordered the curry. We loved every bite and service was great. What a wonderful place in this sleepy little town. We will return and highly recommend it to all. Reserva una mesa ahora

We had the lamb burger which I would highly recommend. Not sure what happened for the previous reviewer but the place was fine for us. I would certainly return for a good meal. The service was prompt and friendly

Stopped by this place by chance! They are currently doing some construction so the pub may be hard to find: it's right next to a sweets store on the left

Very dirty ..... could not spend more than 5 minutes in this place. Hair in my menu, grime everywhere, everything was sticky, bathroom was disgusting.

Friendly staff although very busy, on a Saturday evening, food was excellent, service good, will return

Asked a local for restaurant advice, she said shepherds pub, glad we took her advice.
