The Shiphay Chippy

Shiphay chippy is by far the best chippy in the bay. Since living in Torquay I have not found a chippy that knows how to cook fish and chips properly. All the food arrived piping hot, taste was perfect, and the menu has a great variety. Will definitely be returning.

This is the third time I order with just eat and do not get my food. Been sitting on the front door step. From there I can see the back as well. NO ONE delivered the food but the order says delivered at 17.32hrs. No number to call either.

Peas we're cold, curry sauce was like flavoured water, really really runny. Chips under cooked pale and soggy. Fish was acceptable but had much much better in past orders. Over all a disappointing supper for nearly £40.00.

The food was hot and tasty, however it had to be the smallest, large Cod I have ever had, medium sized at best and disappointing considering it was more expensive than most other chip shops on the site. Reserva una mesa ahora

Very poor service. Yet again my order has been messed up. I’ve received completely the wrong order. Wait g for refund before I can re order what I originally ordered. Not a happy customer

I love this place but have to be honest and today meal was not the usual delight. Always rate it a 10 but sadly a 7 today

Take away sausage and chips awful. Chips so hard and obviously refried from an earlier service.

They use cheep Aldi own mars bars and I payed £3.50 a bar not 30p fummin!!

First and last visit, the chips were old and the fish was greasy.
