We were holudaying at Kirby Hill for a few days and visited this lovely local 3 times, once for drinks, once for a meal and once for desserts. Each time was a lovely experience. The landlord and landlady made us feel special and valued and nothing was too much trouble. We had a laugh and our 2 teenagers loved it....no easy task!!! The food was delicious, fresh, hot and plentiful. The onion rings are worthy of note, as was the sticky toffee pudding and chocolate bombe. Delicious! We would love a friendly local pub like this one at home and would definitely love to return.
Fantastic pub. We had a lovely stay and the owners and staff are fantastic. The food was delicious and the pub was great crack. We'll certainly be back when we're back down that area. Great place.
Haven't been here for some time. It is under new management im sure the new management will put there stamp on the place. The view across the valley from the car park is so beautiful.

Amazing home cooked food in this traditional pub, a friendly welcome from all the staff. Deffo recommended the Lasagne and steak pie. Good selection of ales. Thank you
Charming rural pub! The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Although we didn't have a meal this time, we will definitely be back to try the food!

The three course Sunday lunch for £24 is an absolute bargain. The beef came lovely and pink and the veggies were bob on. Staff very friendly
