Great selection of gin and booze, some good house cocktails. Really good Sunday roast, even tho they forgot my Yorkshire pudding! The manager was there and was excellent. Great service, knowledgeable, attentive. Sadly, we went back for food on a Tuesday night and my dishes were disappointing. Tacos £6 each! and duck leg salad were all a bit cold and dry. And the ice cream was pretty lame and overpriced for £6.50. There was only 3 of us and the rest of the pub was quiet. The staff weren’t great. One member was brand new and basically didn’t know anything. Fine. The other was bussing empty tables rather than taking away our dirty plates. Food was very disappointing, not worth the money at all. We ordered the chicken wings starter which was £9.00 and we only received 3 chicken wings which is really extortionate for what we got. The main courses were OK but nothing that impressive and completely overpriced. Also the food took ages to arrive and there were hardly any other customers ordering food at the time, we were told the steak took ages to cook but steak does not take long to cook so not sure why that was. Staff were nice and helpful though. I would come again for a drink and the pub itself is nice but do not reccomend for food.

What a lovely pub, opposite the Forest Hill Station. Tell your prayers before the Cross, it is the South Circle! Beautiful beer (Cold on a hot day! And wonderful staff. Try the app, but not the table number, small, but on the Qr code tile. So looked like a muppet, but just a moment! A good looking selection on the Food Specials Board. A very pleasant visit. Try it. Loved the ex industrial lamps above the bar the train departure board behind the bar is a real treat, even if I lacked one to have an additional pint!

Really really nice service and such lovely decor. My chicken roast was also tasty. The treacle sponge pudding wasn’t so tasty and chip portions were small. One thing I’d say is the food is pretty pricey in general. They were really nice to sort out some other food issues by taking some items off of the bill. Up for coming back and trying other options on the menu

Great staff, fast service. Didn't try the club like room upstairs but the pub itself has a nice vibe. Would be great to see more sharing plates options as a lot of the food felt quite restauranty
