The Sir Henry Segrave

This pub has recently been refurbished but on my visit I was a little disappointed,nice new carpet but that was about it,no new tables or chairs or recovering of chairs,I didnt see all of the pub but I thought more care seemed to be taken on the outside of the pub than the inside,its not too bad but wish that the whole place had been gutted inside as would have been really nice. The food was nice,fairly hot,well presented but our main meal was brought out at the same time as our starters!!!

the only thing I really don't like is that they don't place music, it means everyone speaks loud and it's like you're in a big market room. the building is beautifully decorated. many when treppen, although there is a ramp. there is a lower and upper seat area. bar and toilets on the upper area. nice outside area to eat and drink. nice cheap food. pub grub quite basic menu as most meal times come with chips. it's okay for what it is. great variety when drinks.

This is the best place to enjoy drinks and food in Southport. Located on Lord Street, Weather Spoon offers a wide variety of beers, ciders, and spirits, as well as delicious food options. One great aspect is that it is very reasonably priced. I visited twice in one week and both times there were plenty of seating options inside and outside. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place and it is a must-visit in Southport.

We had fish and chips here. There was a choice of large or small, we were hungry so opted for the large. When it came we were both disappointed with it size. I have had a larger meal when ordering a small portion, not only was the fish small but I had about 8 chips. I have given 4 stars because the meal was well cooked. this is another wetherspoons in Southport..es was better than the other wetherspoons we visited. once again we tried the meals, I got the full-day brunch and my partner got the jacket spud steak. only the handles with this was a tee spoon full of borons and in still shocked eating on my partner (see pictures). only bright side it came with a beer.service was fast, so good.

we were there early in the evening for eating and drinking. we had both fish chips with pints of san miguel eating was delicious, nice and hot and delicious beer also good. nice pub, it was a cold evening so a nice warm pub was much needed. personal friendly and helpful. will definitely visit again when we come next time.

The vegan breakfast at this restaurant was lovely, just as expected from other Wetherspoons establishments.
