the first time after it had been recommended to us and we were not disappointed, it was refurbished and the new owners have made it proud to be his a warm family / dog friendly place overlooking the channel, the staff is very helpful, attentive and worth knowing regarding the menu, the eating is of a high standard and even if it was busy when we visited in good time, hot and presented very well, I would recommend to drink! a credit to the new owners and a credit to the personal a1.

We had our first visit to the Slipway today, and it was a wonderful experience! Our meal was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was top-notch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. One of the best parts was that the Slipway is dog-friendly, so our furry friend was able to join us. She received plenty of attention from both the staff and other customers and even got her own dog biscuit from the bar. Highly recommended!

we were in this beautiful pub twice. there are new peculiarities and everything has been done beautifully. 2 times we took our labradoodle and 2 children. beautiful staff especially lucy the waitress. beautiful girl. Eating was fabulous and the child menu was extensive and something for every Fussy-Esser. dog-friendly was a bonus. archie has a dog tasty and dish water. would highly recommend ..

Went yesterday and what can I say, first of all the place is beautiful very modern and child/pet friendly. We sat outside in the sunshine right on canal when all boats was in the kids loved it. The food was delicious all homemade and was to high standards. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and we will definitely be going back. Highly recommend thanks for having us x

This is a fantastic pub that offers a refreshing selection of beers, spirits, and lemons, all situated in a beautiful location by the canal. We stopped in for a drink during our Sunday dog walk, so we didn't have the opportunity to eat, but the place was bustling, and the food looked wonderful. We will definitely be back!

I've been here a few times since it opened, and it's amazing! The food is the best I've ever had in a pub, the ale is perfectly carbonated, and the entire staff is fantastic. I rate it a 10/10, especially considering I'm quite particular about my choices!

Great pub, under new management. Lovely food and good sized portions. Fish and chips, good sized fish, not greasy or dripping in fat. Steak cooked as asked. Great service by very friendly staff. Lovely location by the Leeds Liverpool canal.

Fabulous Sunday afternoon at the slipway! Relaxed atmosphere ,friendly staff lovely gin of the week “boe gin” and can highly recommend the bury black pudding starter and roast beef dinner xx�
