First time dining here and I was pleasantly surprised , looks a bit dated from the outside and the decor could do with a bit of updating but food and service wise it was spot on. Had the poppadoms with chutney tray , apart from the sweet chilli the chutneys were bland with minimum flavour or spice. Chose a couple of dishes from the signature dishes menu , plenty to dishes to chose from this menu , Mrs W had the Chicken Shaslick Karahi which she was well pleased with and I opted for the Chicken Piri Piri Massala which is a great take on the regular Massala dish as it adds a bit more flavour and a bit of spice, great idea. Empty restaurant and sat in window, which was fine with us, ordered our food..a table of three people very loud and argumentative were sat beside us, felt uneasy as they were looking for trouble! slightly annoying when the restaurant was empty! The starters came and the prawn puree was terrible with a hard uncooked pastry thing placed on top! Wierdest thing ever and we have had plenty of Indian meals over the years. I visited this restaurant last night with a coworker and initially had reservations about it being connected to a pub. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was completely separate and there was no noise from the neighboring establishment. The staff were very polite and immediately made me feel welcomed. We ordered from a diverse menu and I was not disappointed when the food arrived. Overall, it was a superb experience and I will definitely visit again if I am in the area.
Ate here recently and there is a very good choice and variation of signature dishes available. Mrs W had the shaslick karah which went down a treat , I opted for the pepper fry dish which was very tasty and full of flavour despite being more pepper onion than there was chicken. Service was good and value for money is excellent. Will dine here agian no problem.

I had a terrible experience with this takeout from the restaurant. The lamb was chewy and the sauce was like water with a hint of spice. I don't understand how some people rate this place higher than the other great Indian restaurant in Rainhill. It's not even cheaper. I will definitely be avoiding this place from now on.
Dined here twice recently and also had a takeaway. Was made to feel welcome by the very polite and friendly staff. Good choice on the menu, and was served very quickly. The food is delicious, tasty and plentiful.
The food and service at this restaurant are excellent. It is the best Indian food in the area. The restaurant is clean, tidy, and reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly and polite.
Food here was absolutely amazing, plenty of flavour and good size portions Staff were extremely friendly and provided a quick service. Will be coming back here for sure when up this way.

I am 64 years old and been to plenty of Indian restaurants this is by far the best food, service and very good priced restaurant I have ever been to. I highly recommend. Superb
Evening meal took 1 hour 40 mins to appear from ordering , Food was good but the waiting spoiled the evening
