We enjoy this restaurant, but our dining experience was somewhat disappointing due to the noise level, which was quite distracting—not because of other patrons, but rather the overall environment. I ordered the Moimosa flight, designed for sharing, which was nice. The staff was attentive and friendly. However, I found the hugging and wagging dish to be underwhelming; the chicken was overcooked and dry, and the waffles were nearly cold. I wouldn’t choose that dish again. Overall, we had a good time, but the experience was mediocre. I do want to commend the staff—they were fantastic.
This charming little coffee shop in downtown Occoquan is a delightful find. The service was quick, and they offered a wonderful variety of coffee flavors. Although the flavors weren't listed on the menu, they have a full menu accessible through a QR code on each table. The breakfast flatbread was excellent, boasting a fantastic flavor and pairing nicely with the buffalo/hot sauce they provide. The cinnamon bun was very light and had what tasted like homemade or freshly made icing—just the right amount of sweetness!
I hadn't seen my friend in 25 years, but thanks to Facebook, we reconnected. They stayed in an Airbnb in Occoquan and wanted to have brunch, so I immediately thought of The Spot on Mill. We had a fantastic time laughing, enjoying each other's company, and indulging in the amazing food! Everything was incredibly delicious, and I loved that they left with such wonderful memories of our time together.

I highly recommend The Spot on Mill Street for its delicious brunch and outstanding service. Our party of seven had a lovely table, thanks to our reservation. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Don't miss out on the mimosa flights, but there are plenty of other beverage options if mimosas aren't your thing. I give this restaurant five stars!
I was excited to try this place after reading other reviews. The patio is small but charming, and the server was very attentive. However, my food was disappointing. It might have just been my choice, but it didn’t taste fresh at all. It seemed like it came out of a package and was overly microwaved. To top it off, it was served with cold syrup.
