After I've moved into the opposite a few months ago, I'm slowly working my way to offer the numerous eating and irrigation holes that leek has to offer. After we had a few pub lunches and a few more curries and friends visited, we decided to try the street restaurant and grill, on the russell street, as it looked a little different with an interesting menu. the restaurant is small, only four tables, but instead of feeling, appears quite spacious inside. so few people to offer also means that the quality of the unrequired service is very high, with the cook also take time to talk to us to explain some of the dishes and the history of the restaurant. the menu was small, something I complained about in the past, but that was not a problem here, because I simply had eaten everything on the menu. no lasagne, jäger chicken or pizza here! the food came in a reasonable time, looked good and tasted better. no small portions require a visit of the chippy on the way to home, but not inferior ingredients from the plates. in fact the quality of the products and, under the pub price, alcohol was not available. we have, pleasantly full, after a few hours, already planned the next visit here!
very enjoyed this place, very small and informal with a limited but tasty menu selection. there are about five starters and five nets to choose from all reasonable price. the owner/cook is very friendly and often comes to her table to check everything is to be explained in order and about his dishes. I would recommend booking because there is only space for about 20 people.
the best restaurant in leek so a small hidden gem, we loved it. great eating, beautiful wein and the staff were fantastic- so welcoming and friendly. a really quirky little place, will be visited again as soon as we can get a babysitter, the ruck huh was amazing my man talking about it a day later.
