Yum! Fresh, unique sandwiches, salads, soups and all kinds of tea selections. I was so pleased after my first visit, I went back the very next day! They have plenty of gluten-free options (super important to me), and the gluten-free bread is actually really good. I built my own sandwich the first time and built my own salad today, both were amazing. Yellow curry chicken salad and creamy basil dressing are delicious. Boyfriend got a side of the spicy mac and cheese and loved it, and I'm now obsessed with the gingerbread orange tea. James was my server both times, he's super cool and nice even though I had a million questions. They also deliver through Bite Squad, Uber Eats, and Delivery Dudes...
There are plenty of options to choose from at this restaurant, with rotating specials that always offer a vegan dish. Currently, the special is a Malaysian coconut curry with vegetables. I opted for the bangers and mash with baked beans as a vegan alternative to onion gravy, and also tried the dragon vindaloo curry which is extremely spicy. Other menu items include a vegan shepherd’s pie, Impossible Burger melt, veggie flatbread, and even vegan chocolate ice cream. The service is consistently friendly, and there is ample indoor and outdoor seating available. The beer selection is also impressive.
This restaurant in St. Petersburg is a hidden gem. They have a wonderful variety of iced and hot teas. The Gingerbread Orange tea is especially delicious. I tried the Fu Man Church sandwich and it was amazing - filled with pulled pork, cranberry chutney, goat cheese, and watercress on sourdough bread. My dining companion also enjoyed her sandwich, made with turkey and Ginger Cranberry chutney on sourdough bread. The Asian slaw on the side was also tasty. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the service is fast and friendly. I highly recommend this place.
We had Mama Ling Ling's Thanksgiving turkey and the smoked salmon bacon sandwich. We had creme brulee and carrot cake bread pudding for dessert. We took it to go so we can eat it at demons Landing American Stage in the park. The meal was very good and we're going to go back again cuz we liked it so much. Just went there for Saturday breakfast and it was great. The different teas were wonderful , I had the chocolate hazelnut tea and was very happily surprised. And for breakfast I had the BYO One Eyed Wong don't get nasty, it was an egg racked in grilled sordough bread with your chic of cheeses, choice of breakfast meat, 2 veggies, and choice of flavored Hollandaise sauce I had the sundried tomato. Excellent!!!
I enjoyed coming here to try out different combinations of sandwiches, flatbreads, and other dishes. They also offer a variety of vegan options including vegan ferments, vegan curry dishes, and vegan naan. Don't miss the delicious vegan shepherd's cake.
