Meal out with the in laws as they were in the area, arrived Saturday evening the football was on TV so it was quiet in the bar. was a little chilly in the area where we were sat but just nudged my coat around me and was fine. Menu is varied and lots of choices to tempt me, I opted for the gammon steak with eggs pineapple as alternative and when it arrived it was massive very tasty, served with chips peas, mushroom and tomato they got shipped off to other halves plate! between us we had a mixed grill a rump steak and chicken tikka kebabs empty plates all round is proof that all were good and tasty! April 2017 was the final month of nearly 14 months of staying at the Stukley country hotel. Need I say more? The Staff and Mangement, that is Claire, Diane, Russell, Trevor Rachel all made me feel very much at home and pretty much one of the family and a friend, and if that wasn't enough I was very quickly welcomed by the regular and local patrons to the pub (they know who they are), making my 14 months stay, during the week and away from my family and friends back home, a VERY pleasant and enjoyable one. My stay at a country hotel in Godmanchester for a wedding was a mixed experience. Although the room I stayed in had quirky charm, the overall appearance of the hotel was dated and worn out. The shower had an extremely powerful jet of water, the toilet didn't flush properly, and the taps were stiff. The lighting in the room was also poor. The next morning at breakfast, the tables were so close together that we almost sat on another guest's lap. When we asked to move, the only staff member serving and cooking breakfast was unhelpful and the breakfast itself was disappointing. I came here to eat last friday, decided to treat myself to the steak. Absolutely wonderful, best steak I've eaten in a while and the peppercorn sauce was perfect. Staff were very helpful, my dad had the gammon steak and really enjoyed that. My boyfriend had a burger which wasn't the best he's ever had but he's very fussy over everything. Over all, really good.

Recommended by staff Redwings Lodge. Genuine 'local ' with great pubfood, cosy atmosphere very welcoming bar manager. Excellent way to end our 3 weeks in Britain. Hope to return again next year. Thanks for a lovely night.
Nice pub/ hotel located conveniently for Ford dealer TC Harrison (go to Alan Jessop for best deals) Huntingdon for antiques etc. Fair prices grub good service. Nice
Visited for a bite to eat. Service was friendly with good menu selection and good beers on offer. The food itself was tasty and not too expensive. Will visit again.
I had an amazing night at this restaurant. The atmosphere was great and I really enjoyed the selection of real ales they had. I will definitely be returning.

The carvery selection was fantastic. The service was excellent. The pub has gotten better at providing entertainment, including a fun monthly quiz.
The atmosphere was what I was expecting/looking for in a place like this and the food was decent. Watch out for the back door though, it sticks. :
