Went to watch Nigel Kennedy at Malvern theatre, so we stayed overnight at the Swan. It is a beautiful, historic place in a small village. We got there early, but that proved no problem as the staff told us we would be able to access the room straight away. The pub has everything you need, great ales and lagers, plus some very good food. We tried a fillet steak and cod, and they were very good. The bedroom was a reasonable size with everything we needed and a comfortable bed. Overall I recommend anyone to have a stay at this place, the only fault I can point out would be, they did tell us before we left to the concert that the bar would be open until 10.30, we did rush back and managed to get...
Have visited this restaurant/pub before and always found it a pleasant place. There are a few things that could be improved though, when a waitress comes out 3-5 minutes with your Sunday Lunch you just know that they 've been sitting out back waiting to be ordered and because of this the plates are cold and the meal to start with is just warm rather than hot plates and hot food. Sometimes you have 2 potatoes, sometimes 3. Sometimes the parsnips and red cabbage are missing, sometimes not. All these things make a difference to the meal. The restaurant itself is lovely and it 's in a wonderful location, it 's just that the food is a bit inconsistent on what you receive each visit.
This fantastic pub offers high-quality food and service. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and dog-friendly, at a reasonable price. We stayed in the Gooseberry room, which had some kitchen noise until around 9:30, but it did not bother us. Overall, we rate the rooms, service, and location a perfect 5. A highlight of the hotel is its great value.

Dipping breads with oil Beef sandwich with salad fries Selection of wines and a nice cheese board , Nice atmosphere lovely garden friendly staff Only disappointing thing was they don’t take cash which I think is not good as it doesn’t state it anywhere If you had no card and only cash what would happen then

Lovely looking pub inside and out, we ordered drinks and food in the restaurant. We waited 20 minutes for drinks, then I had to go to bar to remind them. 10 minutes later, the food come, then I had to Remind them again about our drinks, so felt like we was moaning, so not the best dineing experience.
I dined at this restaurant twice this week and I must say the food was superb. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant, and the ambiance was cozy. I would rate the service and location both a 4 out of 5.
A walk from the campsite along path on busy road but OK with dog torches. Excellent food service. Very dog friendly. Service: 5 Location: 5
