The Swan Inn - Reserva de mesa

We have been to this pub a few times now and have always had a strange experience. There have been instances where we couldn't eat, or the white wine was cold but they insisted it wasn't. We once arrived after checking the opening hours online only to find the pub closed, even though the sign outside said it was open. Another time we called ahead to confirm it was open, only to discover upon arrival that there was a wedding taking place and we could only access one room in the pub, with the garden closed. This was not ideal, especially since we had children with us. When we mentioned our concerns to the staff, they claimed they had informed us in advance, but we did not recall being told. As...

highly recommended. these youngs held our high-time in september 2020. laura and her team were extremely flexible, especially in the Kovid restriction situations, and were pleased to do everything necessary to feel the day within the rules as normal as possible. our day could not have gone further if it were not for these amazing people. they went beyond and beyond to offer a relaxed but profession with which we were both extremely satisfied. they really understood what we were after, let us laugh and felt lightness and eating and the venue were simply amazing. I can't recommend this pub enough. Although they held various events, they had not hosted yet, but we have asked our to be married in our local pub. they really gave us a day we will remember and appreciate forever. the effort that laura has done to organize this to not mention the outstanding food and service on the day. my children and I also have many allergies, but lawrence has managed to fulfill these during every meal, so many thanks. our day went better than I would have ever wished so many thanks to all in the swann inn lawshall that this happens x

We ate here on a Saturday night. Service and food was very good (although two jalapeño cheese poppers as a starter was a bit stingy) Beers were ok … would have liked a few more on draft but a nice evening. Lovely garden and some nice events planned too. Opening hours and capacity were very odd … didn’t open until 3pm on a Saturday and although restaurant was only half full at 7:30pm sign said it was full … I think you could be doing a lot more business ! What a fantastic place, I have been introduced to The Swan by my best buddy Clive, what a great pub, food is so yummy yum yum, best meals out I have had for a long time. Its also the atmosphere that makes it a worth while visit, everyone is so friendly, Liz is fantastic. A worth while visit if passing or to make a special journey out to, you must go!

I brought my mother and my family to the swan for Mother's Day. great experience from simple booking with laura and on the day, the staff was friendly, courteous and attentive, great service and the restaurant had a nice quiet atmosphere to enjoy our meal. the roasts were delicious as the desserts. thank you! will be back in the future, Adam

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, with generous portions and outstanding service from the bar and restaurant staff. It is also very family-friendly and accommodating to our needs.
