The Sweet And Savory Spot

My wife and I ordered breakfast from here on a lazy Saturday morning via Grubhub. There are two vegan breakfast options that we ordered. First, the loaded breakfast potatoes topped with vegan chili. The potatoes were crispy, crunchy, and well seasoned. Vegan chili topping had lentils and was super filling. Combination of both was savory and delicious. I recall a bit of heat as well. We also had the veggie breakfast sandwich. This was really nice and the patty was surprisingly light, yet hearty and crunchy. Overall, this place is a hidden gem for a solid vegan breakfast and an oasis for vegans in the western suburbs. Only other breakfast/brunch/lunch spot with 6 miles is Prasino in Lagrange....

I can't wait to return to this hidden gem of a restaurant. Even though I live in town, I happened to come across this family-owned small restaurant with a bakery and was blown away by the amazing food. We tried the wolf, Biscuits Gravy, Hausburger, Breakfast Potatoes, Donut, and Cake Pops, and everything was absolutely delicious! I am already looking forward to trying more of their tasty dishes. The staff was very friendly and the cozy atmosphere made it perfect for a quick bite. It's a hole in the wall type of place, but they really know how to make great food. They also offer baked treats for the kids.

I recently started working next door, so I decided to try this restaurant. The day before, I had an amazing apple slice from here. Today, I had a simple burger cooked well-done with cheese, pickles, special sauce (dijonaise), and caramelized onions. It was incredibly delicious! I highly recommend this place. The owners work the register and grill, and they are very friendly. I came home from work feeling satisfied and happy. Thank you.

We were in search of a quick breakfast spot while on our way from Chicago and came across Sweet and Savory, which had excellent reviews and affordable prices. We made the decision to stop and were certainly not let down. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and our meals were served promptly. It exceeded our expectations. I'm coming here all the time. there is a good amount of vegan options. I love the veggie breakfast sandwich and the vegan chili on the breakfast kartoffeln. they also have a vegan stroganoff and a drawn jackfruit sandwich that are also really good. the owners are very friendly, and those who were sometimes vegan baked.

My favorite restaurant offering vegan options in the whole area! Excellent food, awesome service, and very reasonable pricing! They deserve a 5 star rating in my opinion, but the app won't let me do so because they do offer non-vegan items. Every time I've eaten here the experience was perfect. 10/10

I’m from the area and my mom and I go here all the time. The owner is so kind and they always have a few vegan options on the menu. They usually have a vegan soup on had and they are very knowledgeable. Their food is always amazing

very delicious food and the straganoff was delicious! the amount they get is a lot and they can easily get two meals out of it. her chili was hearty. I'm looking forward to foodsby!

I didn't like the stroganoff, I really liked the sandwich that guacamole has in it. the kartoffels are also good.
