Wanted to try this as a new option in town but Was disappointed by the 2 tiny scones for £9 and small portion of jam and cream which didn't suffice for 3 people. Scones were tasty, just tiny! The waiter apologised that he didn't normally serve in that space but it felt very fawlty towers just asking to see a menu. Lack of ambience and people. Will not recommend or go back.
The food at Tamburlaine is excellent. We visited during the food festival, and it was a fantastic experience. The portion sizes were generous, the service was fast, and the staff were welcoming. When I return to Cambridge, I will definitely dine at Tamburlaine again.
Sandwiches were clearly frozen before hand as they were so cold. Scones were nice but cakes seemed a bit on the cheap side. Sugar was in paper sachets not lumps. Was not served in the garden Room either but in a side room at the front. Not great I'm afraid.
Wonderful afternoon tea for my nans 80th birthday. The selection of tea was lovely and was pleased it was tea leaves and not tea bags! The service was 10/10, friendly, welcoming, attentive staff. Beautiful setting and the food was delicious. Reserva una mesa ahora
The menu has changed from the one published on your site. 4 main meals not available on menu at 830pm. All the food was delivered either before first drinks or without sides. The team tried to support but got it horribly wrong.
Good place to meet for tea. Wasn't pressured to vacate table like you are at some places. Very enjoyable tea, lovely surroundings. We had travelled to Cambridge on the train so the location is ideal. Will definitely return.
I'm looking forward to a festive dinner tomorrow! I can’t say how the food will be, but I’m confident I’ll have an amazing meal with my zorpig. Love you to bits!
