My fiancé, sister and brother in law and I were in Atlantic City for a comedy show, we decided to try the taproom for dinner before the show, which was at 10pm. Making a reservation online was easy and fast. Our reservation was at 7:45, we arrivedaround 7:50 were seated immediately on the outside patio. It took nearly 10 minutes for our table to be greeted and get ourorders in. There was live music, who were okay but the volume was very loud, it was impossible to carry a conversation. The Atlantic City Country Club popularized the term "Birdie" in the Gulf! The Taproom Grille offers tasty food with generous portions for lunch. Nancy, our server, was outstanding—she took our orders promptly, and every dish was cooked exactly as requested. They have a happy hour from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday, which I’ve heard is excellent. I plan to try it soon.

We visited this restaurant for lunch during restaurant week and had a great experience. We started with the wings, which were both delicious. My companion ordered the beef basket, while I opted for the Rigatoni; both dishes were tasty. They offer an excellent happy hour here, so we’re definitely planning to return!

The service was remarkably quick, a change from previous years during restaurant week. The food was enjoyable, as always. However, the dark chocolate almond cake was quite disappointing. It resembled a brownie that had been left in the oven for an extra 30 minutes—dry and hard.
