"Visited several times for the carvery. Consistenly good. Huge homemade Yorkshire puds and delicious gravy. Good choice of meats and vegetables. Shame the pub is starting to look tired. Would have been 5 stars."

Called in 2 nights ago. Have to say this place didnt look set up as the perfect eating place upon arrival, as wede booked a table and no table was set up for us. The gentleman handed out the menu and explained the extras he had. Then came back to take our order. What a great guy, absolute gent! Not often I say that. He really was a legend So I ordered steak medium and when it arrived it was perfect!!!! A really really lovely meal had by myself and partner, he had slow cooked beef. Really lovely and will def go back xxx
