Disgusted!! I dont usually write reviews but felt compelled to write this one! I have been enjoying the huge portions and good quality food here for years under previous owners, but now I am appalled at the quality and portion sizes! Ordered a takeaway roast dinner; when they handed me the bag it was as light as a feather, I wondered if there was any food inside at all?! When I opened the polystyrene box I can only describe a child sized meal with dried up veg and meat to tough to eat. I wouldn't be surprised if the food was left over from the day before. I haven’t been to The Tuck Inn since it changed management and there are a mix of reviews here, so I wanted to add my own. My partner and I had lovely breakfasts, good portion sizes and good quality food. I had my usual milkshake and felt like my experience was as good as it has always been, the food maybe even tasted better and less greasy than before. I am also pleased they accept card payments. The only real negative is that the parking can be quite busy and hard to find a space even when inside there are tables available. I stopped at this restaurant while my dog was being groomed nearby. I ordered breakfast and a cup of tea for £10.10, which I paid for when ordering. The tea was good, but the breakfast was disappointing. The sausages, eggs, and hash brown were of low quality, with only the bacon standing out. I usually prefer cafes in Ashford such as Willesborough Cafe or Blue and White, as they use better ingredients and offer better value for money, even with the increase in prices. I have often seen the Tuck Inn with a full car park, but after my visit, I cannot understand why.
We have been using The Tuck Inn for many years and always been happy with the food but avoided the sausages. This was our first visit since the new owners took over. We were apprehensive after reading mixed reviews. My only regret is that we didn't go sooner. A very nice lady explained the changes to the menu and where they sourced their produce from. The quality was certainly very good and the sausage were proper sausages. Fast friendly service good food they have certainly won us back.

The restaurant was taken over a few months ago and this was my second time dining there in the last few weeks. The McCain oven chips were very poor and the food overall was of low quality. The service was provided by a scruffy old man. Despite having been a customer for over 40 years, I have decided not to return to this restaurant. All four of us in my party had the same impression and we unanimously agreed that we will not be returning. The restaurant has gone downhill very quickly.
Been a while since I visited. Read the old owners had sold up because they were retiring a while back, so was nice to see what the new people were like and what the food was like. From memory, I'm guessing they haven't tinkered with the menu, maybe reduced the number of options, as I remember the blackboard having so many options. Reduced number of options not a bad thing, just makes it so much easier to decide.
Used to go here a lot before management changed. It was decent back then but now the prices are just too high for me and my family to go there every week so we've started to go to a different place for our Sunday breakfast. The food itself was always enjoyable and I never had any issues, the atmosphere was always friendly and the staff were nice. But the prices is the main issue for me.
Simple yet pleasant. This restaurant is exactly as advertised. It's a shame that it closes so early, around 2pm. It may not be the cleanest, but it's decent enough.

Great omelette , loads of ingredients . Good quality tasty sausages too. You get what you pay for
