The Velvet Note - Reserva de mesa

This place is ridiculous, claims to be the number one jazz place in GA, however they are just using that to charge outrageous prices. Then your food comes out on paper plates, with plastic forks. Also they're not very accommodating for large crowds. Even the staff that works there seems to be very stuck up. I think they should remember that they're part of the service industry, in which they seem to be lacking.

Music-wise it was a great experience. Sound was excellent and atmosphere was super cozy. Now the food was good but expensive for what it is (especially when your $39 ribeye is served on a plastic plate with plastic cutlery). A/C was somehow not working (enough) for that super hot day. Don’t get me wrong, we will certainly return but just for the drinks and the music.

I absolutely love this venue. If there's one downside, it's that the service could be a bit more proactive; you really have to be assertive if you want a second drink. However, they do bring in some incredible talent. If you're a music lover, I highly recommend The Velvet Note!

This venue is nationally known for ripping off artists and bands! There is about 100 bands currently owed from velvet. This place is a disgrace and the owner has been called out everywhere. Beware!!! Do not give them your business! Reserva una mesa ahora

Love this place! Has a nice, laid-back atmosphere. The space gives a cozy, personal, and intimate feel. Im not a big fan of huge crowds, so this was perfect. The food didn't disappoint either!. I'll definitely be going back again.

Don’t perform here if you’re a musician. And don’t spend your money here. They write bad checks that bounce. Multiple musicians getting stiffed and waiting years to get paid.

My first time there to see Doug Carn. The acoustics were excellent, and the food was good. I had the vegi lasagna. The best jazz room that I have been in since I moved south.
