The Vic on The Park is extremely dog friendly and was highly recommended to us by others that have fur babies. No dogs allowed inside, but there is a rather large balcony where your pup is welcome We arrived early for lunch on a Sunday. I felt it best to try and beat the crowds as The Vic on the Park have a doggy badge draw on Sunday afternoons. For $15 you fur baby gets a bandanna, a numbered dog tag and entries into the weekly draw. Basically they become part of The Vic doggie possie (my words not theirs).
Eat: the quality of eating is good and the portions are generous. the dessert menu could be improved with some additional options service: the service is always friendly and warm. in certain lively nights (e.g. World Cup game night) the bars seem to be underoccupied that can lead to long waiting times on the bar ambience: this pub has a good chilled mood and big event calendar. the crowd is a mix of people who appear friendly and the music is diverse. I also love that this place is dog-friendly!
Soy un fan masivo de la Vic. Impresionante cubierta exterior moderna. Luego, la zona de baloncesto es excelente, con paraguas y amabilidad de perros. Generalmente un pub familiar. this is one of my fav dog friendly venues in sydney, especially for a public holiday. everyone is in the parking lot and shoots hoops. super fun atmosphere. I never eat here normally, just drink. once we had a show in the nearby factory theatre, so it came here for a good old pub feed. the food was very mediocre, I had the barramundi and it tasted dirty. they were good. So they skip the food and drink it!

A definite hotspot for many reasons. All types mingle here, there's no sense of exclusivity (there are dogs that go here, for real), you'll get a good feed for a reasonable price, but most importantly (at least for me), it's one of the few bars/pubs/eateries that supports live bands, which really brought it all up a notch IMO. Can only hope all this doesn't change under Merrivale's new management
the Merivale takeover does not seem to have influenced the old device, funny amount and good music (live or otherwise). it could have increased prices, however. Happy hour is good with all be $5 but when it ends, some of the prices almost double. eating is quite good pub food, but also the cheapest sausage in a roll is $12.
I love the atmosphere here. they have a large, beautiful outdoor seating area, or they can choose to sit on the large window, the view of the enmore park. while we were there, the staff grilled the hunch on the back, the smell fantastic. we were so full that we didn't eat, but the drinks were okay.

¡Gratamente sorprendido! Pollo marroquí y marroquí eran muy húmedos y delicados, especialmente para la comida con pub. Llegar de nuevo. Buena selección de cerveza también.
One of my favourite pubs in the area. Great atmosphere, specially during weekends. Very friendly staff. Standard pub food maybe with a special touch.
