The Village Bakehouse Deli

What a great place to go to for a sandwich, pie, sausage roll or salad. Very reasonably priced. The salads are very filling and well presented. Sandwiches, well the ham is gorgeous, turkey very tasty and the tuna is great. Now for the staff. What can you say about a bunch of pleasant, friendly, kind people. They remember you, remember orders and are not pushy to get you to buy more. The atmosphere is pleasant and much laughter goes on. I was in there today and left with my sides hurting with laughing. They definitely can cheer anyone up. Keep up the good work and I will continue to sing your praises. Excellent place.

Lovely local shop. Great choice of selection, including for vegetarian. If you aren 't sure what to get just ask for a recommendation. Ask them to read your order back to you, mistakes happen but they are always happy to correct it. The staff are very friendly and always brighten my day. High quality deli meats, a wide range of third party artisan products in store, crisps were a bit stale but everything else was perfect. Simon and Ruth where fantastic catering for our work event. They had a wide variety of foods and cater wonderfully for the vegetarians. They delivered and collected all on time and the food was amazing! Will 100% use again
