We’ve been here several times prior to New Years Eve and the food had always been excellent. However our prix fixe meals were somewhat disappointing last night. Normally I might expect a prix fixe dinner to be less than satisfactory on New Years Eve but at these prices and based on our past experiences here I have to say we were disappointed. While our appetizers were good, our dinners were bland with little taste and our deserts were surprisingly bad. The fudge brownie’s bottom was overcooked and so hard it couldn’t be cut while the cheesecake had an odd consistency, little flavor and didn’t seem to be fresh. I had the worst experience I've ever encountered at a restaurant. I’ve never felt compelled to write a review until now, but this one truly warrants it. The salad was lackluster, the clams tasted old, and one of them was so bad that I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth. The pasta was bland, lacking any sauce. The scallops were undercooked in the middle. On a positive note, the drinks were good, but unfortunately, mine was taken away before I had finished. Overall, the service was subpar; we were rushed to place our orders and then hurriedly served our food.
Our waiter was timid, asked us three times within 10 minutes if we had read the menu and then mistakenly served my friend her appetizer separately when she had wanted all good out together, which i verified. Though pleasant, he tried to argue that that wasn’t how it was ordered instead of apologizing for a misunderstanding. Later in the dinner as the restaurant got busier, we hardly saw him at all. Angela the bartender, however, was excellent, bright, friendly, and speedy, making great drinks.
We booked an early lunch on NYE 2023 and had the entire restaurant to ourselves. This was not our first time there . We spent Christmas Eve there last year. The service is always impeccable. Food is to be celebrated . Kudos to the chef , bartenders and waitstaff.

We started our evening at the bar, where we enjoyed some fantastic cocktails. Dinner was equally delightful, with excellent service throughout our visit. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely return!
