This cafe is on the main street, in an old brick building, which was the post office in days of old. This day it was busy as the adjacent Farmers Market was in full swing. Cozy inside with lots of tables and chairs outdoors as well. Friendly service where one orders at the counter and food is then delivered to your table. Service with a smile and quick. My breakfast grilled croissant was filled with nicely done scrambled eggs, cheese and ham-very tasty. The coffee was excellent and they use a local roasting company - fair enough. We heard about this establishment so we wandered into the Wandering Moose in Cumberland for lunch. The cafe is in the old customs building built in 1907. Great decor, friendly staff and an appealing menu. There were three of us and we all ordered different things. The thai and tomato soup, BLT, ham & cheese sandwiches and the beef and bean burrito. Coffee was flavourful as well as the tea. Very good lunch had by all.

I went here with my siblings - a vegetarian, a wheat intolerant, a pescatarian and two others ( we're all fussy about food, though). The service was friendly and very helpful - all ingredients are set out in the easy to read menus and the food came quickly. We were staying in another town but returned to The Wandering Moose as often as we could during our stay (in Royston BC) because we liked it so very much. Reserva una mesa ahora

What a great business! Friendly staff, great location, good food and coffee. Dogs allowed on the patio out the front. Kids toys inside. Relaxed parents = happy customers. Enough said.
