The Wellington Bakery

We have been to this bakery a few times, now finally I am doing a review ! We were there early this morning for the ham and cheese croissants and a few other goodies. The baker is a super nice guy and we always enjoy his products. A lot of bakeries smell good or the products look good but when you try them you end up being disappointed. Not this place ! The cinnamon buns, breads, turnovers, everything looks good , smells good AND more importantly tastes great !

A friend and neighbour told us we had to try the meat pies. So, with a little apprehensiveness we decided to give them a try. We bought a couple chicken pies. Great crust, excellent filling. We were not steered wrong. The strudel is wonderful, the cinnamon danish were great and the cinnamon buns were good (not the best I have had but still quite good). The owner / baker seems to be a great guy. By the way, the meat pies freeze well.

We always visit the Wellington bakery when we visit the county and are never disappointed.Stopped in recently to pickup our favorite...the multi grain bread. We were offered a taste of the apple strudel which was fantastic, so we bought some.Went back a few days later and bought some danishes....yum! Pastry is flaky and delicious. If you are ever in Wellington do not miss this gem!

Passing through Wellington and finding this gem was delightful.A little pricey but the treats and baked goods were amazing. We will stop here again and again.it was unfortunate they had been burgled early that morning and the owner was very upset, but she opened her little shop and we were really glad she did. We stopped in for a bite this morning. The danishes were some of the best I've ever had. We also had a cherry muffin and it was really tasty. The baker serving us was a really nice dude and with nice manners and provided some recommendations. I'd go back again and again and again!

Great, great pastries and baked goods. You can watch them being made in the open kitchen. Old world craftsmanship as opposed to an assembly line.

just stumbled on to this gem was so yummy , the buns were awesome , just a hometown feel you have to get their early for best selection

Wonderfully fresh baked goods - cinnamon buns were delicious. Recommend stopping by for some wonderful sweet treats.

for an improvised picnic, we bought homemade sandwiches, good variety, the only problem you have to pay in money.
