What a disappointing experience. Our table was booked for 7pm. As our party was a group of 20, we had given The Wharf Inn our order 48 hours previously. We arrived early and then had to queue for the bar. One of the meal choices was unavailable. The wait for the food was horrendous, food came out after over an hours wait but only four meals at a time. No cutlery despite asking several times resulting in one of our party actually going into the kitchen to collect some as food was now getting cold. After 1hr 35 mins 2 of our party were still waiting for their food. When it arrived the chips were warm corn on the cob cold and the hunters chicken looked appalling. We visited today and had an outstanding carvery which was cooked to perfection with plenty of choice it was also great value, the staff were fantastic and gave us a really enjoyable experience! For pudding the kids had ice cream which there was plenty of choice as opposed to the usual strawberry, chocolate or vanilla. Us adults had an absolutely phenomenal mouthwatering homemade lotus biscoff cheesecake that was to die for. Its without a doubt the best in the area. Thank you for having us and making our visit enjoyable, we will see you again soon! P.S They do a cracking pint of Guinness and a brilliant pint of cornish rattler for us cider drinkers
Sadly despite the website saying open for lunch, today they could not offer food, we made a special journey to come here today, so really disappointing, so just have a beer, sadly first one asked for just spurted out a few dregs, so plan B, next one ok. Limited selection of j20, who never stocks the passion fruit one, has to be Said lady on the bar was lovely, and spent time doing so much cleaning, in comes young man on bar, language not to my liking Won't be back
Lovely spot by the river , Food is way over priced and very small portions small burger in a bun ,a small spoon of coleslaw and a few frozen skinny fries there was a few options for BOGOF ,but the prices were double for this option so were not BOGOF . Bar was like something from a carry on film and toilets need a very good deep clean . Ideal pub etc for the campers ,bur avoid if you are looking for food

Very affordable pub located on the river Severn, nice atmosphere with a karaoke night, accommodating staff, park for children and connecting to a campsite where guests can pay to stay, overall nice area and experience
Came for fish friday, £7 each and the fish was amazing! We stayed for a few drinks after and the bar staff were friendly and attentive, good prices, will definitely be returning
the chef was so nice and a great chef. lovely food. And great staff. bar staff was funny but lot of kids wheeling around car park and courtyard which was not that nice to see.
This is such a wonderful place to be. Right next to the river with a great view and stunning food great and bar service we are definitely coming back
