The Wheatsheaf Inn

The Wheatsheaf is a charming local pub with a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Ken, the owner, along with his team, were incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. The location is perfect for exploring Haslemere, and the scenic Devil's Punchbowl is just a 10-minute drive away, or you can walk there. The food here is truly exceptional; the chef clearly takes great care in selecting the ingredients. We enjoyed two breakfasts and one dinner, and everything was delicious. Friendliest pub I have ever visited. Ken the landlord and his team were brilliant, their hospitality was first class. Clean spacious rooms, fantastic breakfast and delicious home cooked meals by talented chefs at great prices and a great pint you could not ask for more! Highly recommended and can't wait to visit again!

really pleasant stay. we had a warm clean room with a mural of itals on the wall. we had a great reception and beautiful evening meal at the restaurant/bar. the next morning there was an excellent breakfast. a big bonus is that dogs are welcome and there are plenty of walking around recommended. we will visit again.

This rating is based on the excellent service and manner of all the staff. Rooms are simple and neat as a pin, and wall paintings add a great touch. Food was tasty and filling. We've been to the Wheatsheaf about four times now and we have always been impressed. The service is great, they have a good range of food on offer and the meals are always delicious. They have a lovely outdoor seating area for nice days. Will defo return.

The dining experience was fantastic—definitely the best I've had in a long time. The lamb was cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and nothing was bothersome. The atmosphere was beautiful. I highly recommend it!

We had a lovely Sunday lunch here, 6 adults, 3 under 9's, celebrating a family birthday. Very relaxed meal with friendly service and a lovely playground on the green opposite for an after lunch stroll.
