The White Hart Pub And Pizzeria

the pub is extraordinary that the bar, the only drink room, remains practically unchanged, as I visited over 40 years ago. I love the old glass windows and the stabbed deal tables, especially children who are not allowed inside, although dogs are clearly welcome (not sure what tells us?) there is a good farm behind the pub with benches and tables. a fairly recent supplement (a few years) is the wood-fired pizza oven in the farm. They are also welcome to bring fish and chips from the adjacent business that will buy them some drinks at the bar. more benches on the street in front of the pub that catch the afternoon sun. everything in everything, a very good place

in the not too distant past, there were many beautiful pubs selling a good prise beer. the times change and many are now closed or restaurants with maybe a small bar where the trinkers play second fiddle to diners. the white hard offers a bar pub, dog friendly, roaring fire when cold, friendly staff and local and above all an excellent beer. and if you want to eat, they can get a handcrafted pizza around the back in the summer. great pub.

A genuine old-fashioned local pub, perfect for a quick pint on Christmas Day. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with friendly conversation all around, even though we only come by when visiting our friends!

One of my favourite coastal haunts. Great beer and right next to a lovely stretch of coastline and a great chip shop. What’s not to like?
