I rarely have the opportunity to go out for Sunday lunch, but my wife and I decided to give it a try. She is quite picky when it comes to food. We both ordered the turkey with all the trimmings and it was delicious. I'm not just saying this, it was genuinely tasty and the portion size was generous. The best part was that it only cost £11.99 for both meals! It's a no-brainer to come back, even if it was just average. But it was actually the best, tasting like a home-cooked meal. I heard that the boss is a trained chef, and it definitely showed in the quality of the food. We will be returning next week. Well done to the staff at the restaurant.
I recently stayed at a B&B across the street for the Grand Prix weekend. A few friends and I decided to go to this pub for dinner and drinks and we were absolutely amazed. The staff and locals welcomed us with open arms, making us feel like old friends. The atmosphere was fantastic and the prices for drinks and food were very reasonable. The food was delicious as well. We will definitely be returning next year for the Grand Prix and will without a doubt be stopping by again. Although, I might skip playing pool this time.
Visited 27th Dec with elderly Aunt.The serving staff two young ladies absolutely Fabulous awelecome ,helpfulful mad you fill right at home, Aunt had pensioners 3 course meal gammon and egg being main Wife had Hunters chicken I had the steak pie slice with chips All meal cooked to perfection served piping hot quality and quantity A1 We struggled to finish it. Price very reasonable an drinks the same Highly recommended The staff certainly highly praised.
What a great pub, having visited many times in the last month one thing i have noticed is how friendly the bar staff are how fab! The food is reasonable pricing and quite tasty the beer is always cold and doesnt break the bank my new local glad i have found it! The competitor down the road should come here for a lesson in customer service

We have enjoyed our visit so much. We both ordered Hunter's chicken and it was the best one we have ever tried. All staff members were very pleasant and polite. We will be regularly coming back.
Just had a build your own burger, with chip shop curry sauce and it was absolutely delicious. Not too long to wait either although the pub was quite busy. Well done to all and keep it up.
The service at this restaurant is exceptional, with Tasha standing out for her hard work and always maintaining a smile. She runs the pub efficiently and effectively.

Absolutely amazing food and the staff were on top form. percent recommend. My puppy was also provided with water.
