Close to town and very convenient this is a small country village pub serving both traditional English dishes as well as some more modern alternatives, everything is sourced directly from neighboring farms, home made and hand cooked and it shows. This place is close to town yet has the feel of being far out in the country both in distance and in history. I had lunch at this restaurant. It was peaceful when we arrived on Saturday. The parking lot is located in the back and has enough space for 11 cars when parked properly. The food was delicious. They offer a variety of drinks, including cocktails, and I could see three different storefronts. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. There are many tables inside as well as a spacious outdoor seating area with a beautiful garden. I highly recommend this pub and will definitely be returning soon.

Yesterday, while stuck in traffic on the A36, we spotted a building with a white horse logo on the side from a distance. We quickly made a turn to check it out and discovered a hidden gem of a restaurant. The place was beautifully decorated, welcoming, with great customer service and fantastic food! It was so lovely that every time we pass by that way, we want to go back in! Thank you White Horse for your hospitality, we will definitely be returning.

all seven of us enjoyed our lunch here especially the seniors who could have two courses for £10. great value and a good choice of cake. service was a bit hit and miss. we asked three times for some water to accompany the wein. waiter. saw stressed and murmured “ for f s will “, when the card machine jammed together its day! everything in all we enjoyed our lunch and recommended. sat with the family and was really impressed. right pub with very good food. very friendly and friendly three people said hallo between the car and the bar and the woman who took our orders was especially friendly and helpful. will definitely go back.

family meal for 6 adults and 6 children was a great success through the welcoming greeting, the fast delivery of delicious, piping hot food and the very efficient waiting staff. we will certainly return to try more from the Appetizing menu.

Very welcoming even when we turned up unexpectedly and they where busy with a large table celebrating Xmas. The food was lovely. I'm glutton free and the GF sticky toffee pudding was home made and Delicious best I've ever tasted.

Beautiful food and generous portions. Good drink selection. Venison pie was excellent and melt in the mouth. Will now be our local pub. Karen was so kind. Whitebait was so good as well. Pub inside is gorgeous plenty of seating x Reserva una mesa ahora

Very pleasent afternoon spent in the garden. Nice stroll there and back think the sun helped. Not been for a while and the new owners have turned it around. Pretty sure it will be a regular.

The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. This pub is also dog-friendly, which is a bonus. The food was delicious, I just wish there were more options to choose from.
