we went to burham from the bluebell hill village and dived into this undescribed little pub for a well-earned drink. we could not have guessed that a part of kartoffels and gravy kents best kept snack could be secret. when I say delicious, I mean great. right engraving with meaty bits afloat and roasted tatties with what needs to drop. we went full on neanderthal and drank the remaining gravitation from the pot. then we spied a few very Sunday roasts and booked a table immediately. due service. friendly hunters. I can't wait to come back here.
The restaurant received four stars for the warm greeting from the lady bartender and three stars for the large portions of simple, hearty home-cooked food in a clean environment. Although the waitress was hard to find in the small pub with only three dining tables, we understand that it is more of a traditional country pub than a formal restaurant. Despite booking last-minute, we enjoyed a satisfying meal.
A group of old friends and colleagues got together for a pre-Christmas gathering at this restaurant. The locals were friendly, the bar staff was pleasant, and they served us a good buffet at a reasonable price. There is a small parking area outside and some street parking nearby. I recommend checking it out.
The Sunday dinner at The Windmill is unbeatable! This authentic English country pub offers excellent homemade cooking at a great value. Terri and her partner run the place well and come highly recommended.

A very friendly village pub. With the locals full of character. Popped in for 1 drink as I was passing through and ended up staying for a few more. As all the people were good to chat to
First ever visit .was made to feel welcome by the staff . Nice decor garden (sun trap). Food looked good as well . Worth a visit anytime .
