We were a table of six who spent a great deal of money here with appetizers, bar drinks, bottles of wine and expensive entrees. We were offered NOTHING in the way of amends for this terrible treatment.Let 's begin.Shoulder shrugging and using the words I don 't know when it came to incomplete dishes that should not have been served. the name of the institution is fraudulent. no real lists only 1 or 2 options of any type without information where it's out. (probably because it's all cheap) they have more cocktail options. eating is not well seasoned, but the app and dessert were good, the fish could be frozen and the green beans seemed skillful. overall it was 't bad, so I don't give a lower rating, it just seems that they cut many corners, so there is no wise that I call it 5 stars eating. when we were dessert served, we asked for Desserts wine, we were told that they did not have one, and the owner told the server to recommend a moscato, we asked to speak with him, but he never came to the table, although he went throu...
I had the pleasure of dining at The Wine Garden for the first time last week, and it was absolutely incredible! I truly loved it. The food was rich, flavorful, and simply delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the overall experience. The atmosphere struck a perfect balance between a relaxed hometown vibe and something a bit more refined, making it an ideal spot for my friends and I to hang out and enjoy ourselves. Have been many times. Heard they had a new chef and wanted to get something new. Ordered the fillet special and the stuffed double pork chop.. only one hostess, bartender,waitress made service a bit slow. Had to ask for refills on the water, it was a hot day and we were thirsty. Dinner took so long we finished both glasses of wine. Finally it was brought out by the manager. Steak was good but needed more seasoning. Porkchop had a wonderful glaze probably from a small torch. However, the meat was cooked to the point where it had no juice and was a bit tough. Pork is safe at 145, this was closer to 160 and well done. The Wine Garden is fantastic! With its lively music, inviting atmosphere, delicious food, and outstanding drinks, this gem in the heart of Old Town Slidell is ideal for a night out. The owner, John, is engaging and welcoming. Our server, Bri, was exceptional. I can't wait to go back and bring all my friends. The Wine Garden can compete with any upscale wine lounge in a big city!
