What a fantastic spot! The bothy bar downstairs features live music on Fridays and Saturdays, creating an authentic bothy atmosphere. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They offer a wonderful selection of local real ales that are well-kept and expertly served. Although we didn't try the food, it certainly looked appetizing. We visited on a particularly busy night, and I must commend the staff for how well they managed the crowd. Even though they were clearly rushed, they still ensured everyone had a great experience, including discounts on food for late arrivals. I highly recommend this place!
We stopped by on our way back from Aviemore and enjoyed some beers. I had the Cairngorm Gold, which was excellent. The interior of the pub is nice, and there's plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy on a dry day. The entrance was a bit confusing since there are two options—climbing the stairs leads you to the restaurant, while the entrance at the back takes you to the bar and beer garden. Overall, it’s a great pub for a quick stop if you’re in the area.
Food was seriously, genuinely lovely. The haggis was another level, and for someone who doesn't eat or even entertain the idea of mashed potato, this dish was fantastic. Beers were great and from the local brewery too. Dessert was very good. The only minor let down was waiting time between main and pud, but that is me being overly critical! Overall, a great experience and would definitely go back if I find myself in the area again!
We had a wonderful birthday meal last night with our two children. One has multiple food allergies so prebooked. The manager on phone was very obliging and knowledgable and when we arrived all staff were aware. Can’t thank the chef enough for accommodating and all the staff for their great service and friendliness. We will definitely be back and recommending to friends

The food here was very good and the portions were large. We got the chicken burger and the beef roast. The roast was massive and perfectly cooked and the chicken was charred just the right amount. The only thing I wasn't amazed with was the golden margarita, but they have plenty of good beers and other drinks to choose from.
I've dined at a few places in this area, and this one stands out. The food is top-notch, and the staff is fantastic—very attentive. The beer is also excellent, especially the Black Gold from the local Cairngorms Brewery! I highly recommend this pub to everyone. It might be a bit pricey, but that's just part of Avimore.
We enjoyed a delightful dinner that was absolutely delicious. The customer service was outstanding. The staff who welcomed us were very friendly and kind, and we had a lovely table with a view of the Cairngorms! It's a fantastic place, but be sure to make a reservation in advance.
they have ale and a very good choice, eating is 5 stars and the workers are not forgotten about 5 stars, I am a sniper trucker and they treated me like a king, I now set this place on my card to hear again thank them all there

Great spot to park the motorhome in the middle of Aviemore and a great place to eat. The restaurant was warm, the staff were friendly, the food was great and at a reasonable price for the resort.
The best steak and ale pie ever... Would definitely recommend.. Overall, an excellent eating place in the heart of Aviemore.
