After a rather hectic day out with my disabled client at the lovely Lookout Discovery Centre, I needed to quench my thirst and relax a bit before heading back home on the mobility bus. So glad to find this lovely pub. The staff made us welcome and could not do enough for us. They topped up my clients sippy cup with water after all she is partial to a refreshing glass of water. Also I was flagging after pushing her chair along the various roads and uneven paths to get there so finding this was a pleasant surprise. It is a fantastic find. This restaurant was our lunch stop during our walk from Ascot. We were aware beforehand that food might not be available as the new owners were planning to renovate the kitchen, but they hadn't even gotten a quote yet. It was not a problem as we were able to easily purchase affordable food from the nearby Tesco and eat it in the pub. It was disappointing that they were unable to provide tea or coffee as they did not have the necessary ingredients. However, the staff were friendly, the restaurant was spacious, and it was easily accessible.

Always a great place and not a local but made to feel totally welcome. Such a friendly pub and staff are great (Charlie and Michelle) and nothing is a problem and made to feel as a local. The locals are friendly and welcoming all the time. Defiantly recommend if you want friendly service and a warm welcome and made to feel at home. Food is good, always cooked fresh and service is prompt, standard pub fair and reasonable price. Range of lagers is limited but fine, you know what you are getting.

Alex provides excellent service, and the friendly and attentive Mark, the owner, makes for a delightful experience. The garden atmosphere is charming. This was my first visit, and I had a wonderful time - I will definitely be returning! I believe I have found my new favorite local spot.

I had an amazing evening at this restaurant! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with Marc being a wonderful host who provided a delicious buffet supper for everyone. It was great to find a local pub that is dog-friendly, cozy, and inviting, perfect for families as well.
