The Works Gourmet Burger Bistro

There are so many combinations of bun, meat and toppings that you could spend an hour reading the menu. I go here quite often with friends or my sons and we all love it. My favourite is the three ringed binder, which I have with the whole wheat bun, a grinder chicken burger dipped in hot sauce, the three onion rings intact, and the mushrooms replaced with a fried egg or some bacon. I get fries, poutine or weeds (a garden salad made with romaine hearts) with that. The service can be a tad slow during peak times, but the food is cooked fresh and you won't regret the slight wait. The food today at the works at this location was not of high quality. We were not impressed with the quality and taste of the burgers we ordered. It was unanimous on the votes from 4 of us that we have had better burgers. We had different sides and toppings that included fries, chips and salad. We also ordered the Onion Rings Tower, this was quite good.I had a beer, my kids had chocolate milk and my wife had coke. They didn't mess the drinks up.If you specialize in burgers like the works does, then there should not be any quality issues.

The lunch burgers had extremely small patties and were overcooked. The fries were also small and overcooked. This was very disappointing. Additionally, the restaurant was empty, which added to the lackluster experience.

The menu had too many choices! Don’t change that as I’ll be back to try them all. Service was excellent and very delicious food. I highly recommend.

Tried the Burgeroni Burger with a side of Martini Poutine and it was delicious! Waiter was very friendly and attentive!
